MILANO, 19 MAGGIO "XII GIORNATA SULL'EFFICIENZA ENERGETICA NELLE INDUSTRIE"
Il prossimo 19 maggio si terrà presso il Politecnico di Milano (Aula Roger, Via Ampère) la XII Giornata sull'efficienza energetica nelle industrie sulle opportunità nei nuovi scenari normativi e tecnologici. L'incontro è organizzato da Fondazione Megalia e Politecnico di Milano. 

Two Sides Italia ha pubblicato il “Manifesto per la corretta informazione al consumatore e contro i luoghi comuni sulla carta” (https://www.greenplanner.it/2020/03/09/manifesto-corretta-informazione-carta/).

La carta ha il grande pregio di nascere da un materiale naturale, il legno, e dopo il suo utilizzo e riciclo, di avere la capacità di rientrare nel ciclo naturale del carbonio, biodegradandosi e tornando CO2 utile alla crescita di una nuova pianta.

Marzo 2020 è il mese del Riciclo della Carta e del Cartone così iniziamo questo mese di iniziative con il primo momento di approfondimento.

Assocarta vouches for safety of Italian paper products amid coronavirus scare

BRUSSELS, Feb. 26, 2020 (Fastmarkets RISI) - The Italian association of paper producers Assocarta has issued a statement aimed at international customers vouching for the safety of Italian-made paper products amid the Covid-19 coronavirus outbreak in the country. “All paper products made in Italy and China, as well as all deliveries from Italy and China, should not be considered any differently from products coming from other geographic areas,” Assocarta director Massimo Medugno said.

Two Sides Italia prenderà parte al convegno “STOP alle FAKE NEWS in ambito AMBIENTALE”, organizzato da Green Planner Magazine (www.greenplanner.it) che si terrà il prossimo 23 ottobre a Milano, presso la Sala Alessi a Palazzo Marino (9.30/13.00) e non il 10 marzo come precedentemente comunicato,

Nell’ambito del convegno si terranno interessanti presentazioni riguardanti le fake news sull’Unione Europea, sul mondo della chimica, sui cambiamenti climatici, sui brevetti ambientali e sulle foreste con un intervento a cura di Two Sides dal titolo ”Cosa bisogna sapere delle foreste e del loro uso (e non abuso)” .

L’attività rientra nelle azioni portate avanti da Two Sides Italia (il progetto di comunicazione volto a promuovere la sostenibilità e l’immagine della carta) contro il greenwashing in particolare per contrastare il tentativo di delegittimare l’utilizzo della carta con affermazioni come “la carta distrugge le foreste”, “la carta riciclata non viene usata” o “la produzione della carta è altamente inquinante”, luoghi comuni non supportati da evidenze scientifiche.

Ban on truck transport of P&B products in Austrian Tyrol comes into force

BRUSSELS, Jan. 13, 2020 (Fastmarkets RISI) - A law approved by the government of Tyrol, Austria, prohibiting the transport of certain goods, including paper and board (P&B) products and waste, by heavy-duty vehicles on a section of the A 12 Inntal motorway came into force on January 1, 2020. The law, which aims at reducing pollution in the Tyrol region, was approved in 2019.

Euro Class VI trucks registered for the first time from September 1, 2018, are exempt from the ban.

The A 12 Inntal motorway connects the south of Germany with the north of Italy and is one of the main freight corridors crossing the Alps.

The law has raised concerns among P&B producers in both Germany and Italy who fear the ban will reduce their competitiveness.

“The restrictions on transit are limited to certain types of goods, not to all kinds: this means that we are not talking about environmental protection measures,” the Italian association of paper producers Assocarta director Massimo Medugno commented. He added: “There are weaker limitations if goods are directed to (or come from) Tyrol. […] It distorts competition between companies located in the Tyrol area and those located elsewhere in the EU area.”
